Install the app and allow the camera
Add Manatky to your phone’s Home Screen and allow the camera for QR scanning.
Open the install page
In the app, choose Account → Install app, or open app.manatky.com/install on your phone. On a computer, the page shows a QR code to open it on your phone.
On iPhone
In Safari, tap the Share button, choose “Add to Home Screen”, then tap “Add”.
On Android
In Chrome, open the menu (⋮), choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen” and confirm. The wording varies a little between Android versions.
Allow the camera
The first time you choose Scan, your phone asks whether Manatky may use the camera. Choose Allow, then point the camera at an item’s QR code.
If something is not right
The camera doesn’t start
Check that camera access is allowed for Manatky — or for your browser, if you didn’t install the app — in your phone’s settings, then open Scan again. If live scanning isn’t available, the app offers Open camera, which takes a photo of the label, and Choose photo.
I can’t scan at all
Search for the item by its code in Inventory (“Search equipment or ID”). The code is printed on the label.
There’s no install option
Use Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. If Manatky is already installed, the page says so.
